About Author
Julie Green is a grief recovery specialist, a mother of four, and a registered nurse who has taken care of the tiniest and most vulnerable patients in the NICU for almost thirty years. After the shocking death of her 19-year-old son Jack to suicide, she began a personal journey toward reclaiming joy after profound loss. Along this pilgrimage, Julie gained experience in many therapeutic methods that helped her to move through her grief, including the Grief Recovery Method™, a framework that helped her to process the loss of her son and several others. Finally free from the weight of these losses, Julie found the space to recreate herself and her life. Julie is now the Parish Nurse at St. James Episcopal Church in Newport Beach, California and a prominent mental health advocate on their Health Ministry Team and in the greater Orange County area. She became a certified specialist in the Grief Recovery Method and now leads groups of people through their own pilgrimage of healing.
